Poetry Outloud

Students should have their poem picked and approved. They should be underway at memorizing the poem. These poems are to be memorized and practiced at home. The students should work on 'how" they are going to present their home. They each need to work on putting their personality into the poem and good inflection.

All students need to be ready to go by the 23rd. Students should present their poem to their family for practice before the 23rd. These poems will be presented in our classroom sometime during the week of February 23rd – 26th. The students will be randomly chosen to present sometime that week.

Select students from our classroom, as well as others, may be chosen to perform at an assembly on March 2nd and then possibly again at a community fundraising activity. If your child is chosen, you will be notified.
