County Reports

We have started the presenting of the county reports in our classroom this past week.  All of the students have come through and done a very good job.  They bring some kind of a "visual project" to school and take between  5-10 minutes teaching us about the county they were assigned to learn about.  The rest of the class takes notes in a special county book!
Above are a few 0f the projects that we have had this week.

Farm Day 09

Today we went on a little field trip to the feed lot in Arcadia for Farm Day. Burt Potts accompanied us on the field trip. We are so glad that he is such an awesome guy to come with us! At farm day, they had 13 stations that were set up for us to learn different things. Below are such photos representing the day!

Steven James Assembly

We have worked with Mrs. Jenkins on learning the words and dance actions for "Take a Stand," a cool song written by Steven James. He came to our school and we were able to sing for him! Each grade in our school had learned a song. We were able to perform it. We had so much fun!

Springville Art Museum Visit

We had a visit from the Springville Art Museum today.  We first met in the library and talked about the wonderful art that is found at the museum and discussed many kinds of art.
It was fun and interesting seeing the art and learning about the artists and what they were saying as they did their piece of art.

Later, we met in the gym and learn how to sketch people!  We learned secrets about the proportions you should use to make your people look good.  We divided into groups, took turns modeling and had 2 minutes to draw each person!  It was fun and amazing.
